I would like to dedicate this entry to Alex - my new walk/run partner. Alex always wears this American Apparel-esque t-shirt that says something about I’m from these great mountains. When I comment on the shirt, she just says - yeah, I hate this shirt, I need to go shopping, don’t want to spend alot, etc and so on..
So here are some great places to snag some deals on work out clothes:
1. TJ Maxx, Marshall’s, and Ross: These type stores can be so overwhelming with their amount of inventory, but luckily their work out clothes are all on one aisle. You’ll find out pretty quickly if there’s something there you like and in your size. I got a great pair of brand name running shorts for less than $10.
2. Target: Always have mad love for Target, but they have a good selection and designs for work out clothes. Tip: Be sure to check out their clearance racks. They usually have a lot of sport tops on them, but even their smalls run a little large. If you’re petite, you might not be able to shop this section.
3. Sports Authority and REI: Their normal rack costs at these stores can been a little high, but there’s usually always something on their clearance rack that is super cute. Def worth a trip ’cause they’re high quality products.
Moral of the Story: You don’t need alot of work out clothes - get a few items to get you started. And Always Check the Clearance Rack!

My coworker, author of the fabulous blog - Dooley Noted, shared with me a friend’s product that I thought was so neat for both kids and adults who are t-shirt fanatics. It’s a chalkboard t-shirt. Literally, a brightly colored shirt, with a chalkboard material shape on the front: you can pick from a bird, butterly, tie, city skyline, heart, or apple.
You use regular chalk - it even has a little pocket to store the chalk on the shirt. It’s machiene washable. Here’s a youtube video explaining how it works.
To buy a t-shirt visit their website. Kid’s shirts sell at $35 a pop.
*Unfortunetly for adults, the company has decided to pursuing targeting these shirts for kids, so they no longer sell adult sizes online. However, they are visiting the following cities and should have some adult tees for sale there.

Roberta Chiarella’s jewelry has been seen in TONS of magazines like OK, Bridal Guide, InStyle Wedding, Self, Shape, Cosmopolitan, US Weekly and more.
Her jewelry has also been worn by big celebs like Beyonce, Hilary Duff, Paula Abdul (can’t believe she’d wear anything but her own collection), Rhiana, and Ashley Judd.
She has a really cool collection called The Academy Award collection to make you look like you could rock that red carpet and has some beautiful wedding collection pieces that seem to be VERY popular.

I was recently contacted about the site, www.PutItOn.com, and thought it’s a good promotional tool for any artists, musicians, fashion designers, and filmmakers wanting to connect, display their portfolios, and sell their work (with NO commission taken!).
Or also if you’re a shopper and you want something unique to own - this is a great site to check out.
I love their tag line: Home to the world’s undiscovered artists.
