2 Dress Ensembles, Each Under $50
For my 30th birthday which was New Year’s Eve, my husband treated me to a shopping spree in 3 of my favorite stores. My first stop was Goody’s. I found really good items including these 2 dresses. The black polka dot dress was originally $30 but the tag said $9.95 but when I checked out I found out the whole store was having 50% off on all merchandise so I ended up paying only $4.99. The white dress which is from Breakin’Loose collection was also originally tagged as $30, on sale for $12.99 but registered as $6.99 at the check out.

I paired the polka dot dress with the red shoes I bought from PAYLESS for only $19.99. I added on a 14′ beads necklace and a pair of the hoop earrings which didn’t cost more than $5 for the whole thing, also from Goody’s. So to calculate the whole outfit, $4.99 for the dress, $19.99 for the shoes, and accessories for let’s just say $5, the total is: $29.98. Come on, you can’t beat that.
I haven’t worn the white dress yet. I’m still waiting for the right occasion but I do love the nautical design of it. I can pair this with any of my black heels but I might decide to go bold and use the red pair as well. This $6.99 dress + the $19.99 shoes, that’s $26.98 total.
There you go go 2 different ensembles that didn’t even reach the $50 mark. Am I good or what?

[...] Back to the dress. I found it at the Clearance rack for $5. It was originally $16.99. It’s V-neck with metallic black beads all over the V and at the bust bottom. The shoulder part are ruffled. I could just as easily wear this with my now very famous red shoes from PAYLESS. Pardon me if I keep mentioning the red shoes, I do have other shoes but this new red pair is just so Orgasmic I can’t help but wear it with everything else . [...] I wore the red heels again for this outfit coz well, it’s my favorite pair of shoes to wear these days. Hubby didn’t like it though coz I looks so much taller than him, Hah!. Pardon the poor quality of pictures but I wanted to show you how I wore the outfit to give you an idea on how to look hot and chic in a military ensemble. I wore the LEVIS denim blazer to keep me warm. I bought that 2 years ago for $12.99. Posted in Jeans, Tops, Store Sales Link to this Entry Email This Entry [...]

[...] Shoes makes me happy, but not these ones February 14th, 2007 by Dexie PAYLESS is where I mostly buy my shoes. I ALWAYS take advantage of their BOGO sale. That’s Buy One Get One 1/2 off for you people who have no idea what it means. The store have been showcasing sexy designs lately like my favorite red shoes and the orgasmically eye popping green heels. I’ve also purchased my 2 faux suede knee high boots(black and brown) there. Not only are they affordable for my husband’s wallet , they’re also surprisingly comfortable. I’ve been seeing their Spring commercials on TV lately so I thought I’d visit their online site to make notes for my annual Shoes Wishlist. Boy was I dissappointed. Actually, after perusing the site, I was left in a very depressing mood. It is really bad when a shoe freak like me feels this way . [...]

[...] Friday’s Bargains : Dotted and Rampage March 23rd, 2007 by Dexie Remember my $4.99 black polka-dot dress?, well I found a tan version of it the last time I went to Goody’s. Awesome huh? When I like a particular item, I tend to buy it in different colors. I didn’t see the tan version when I bought the black one but clearly it was fate that two months later I found the tan color. Don’t you think? [...]
