$5 Little Black Dress
Wal-Mart is looking more and more appealing these days due to it’s inception of Metro7 collection in their Women’s clothing. I must confess though, I was initially interested in this line because of the model behind it, Dayanara Torres. I consider her one of the most beautiful women in the world. I am a little bit familiar with who she is because I watched her win Ms. Universe in 1993 then years after that she spent years in the Philippines as an actress and a Dancing Queen. Fast forward, she got married to Marc Anthony and had 2 sons. It’s safe to assume I don’t like Marc anymore when he steadfastly got a divorce in the Dominican Republic just so he could marry J.LO as soon as Ben Affleck realized he didn’t really want to marry her(thank you Matt Damon). Anyway, that’s another story. Can’t you tell I have issues?..LOL.
Back to the dress. I found it at the Clearance rack for $5. It was originally $16.99. It’s V-neck with metallic black beads all over the V and at the bust bottom. The shoulder part are ruffled. I could just as easily wear this with my now very famous red shoes from PAYLESS. Pardon me if I keep mentioning the red shoes, I do have other shoes but this new red pair is just so Orgasmic I can’t help but wear it with everything else :).

[...] Do NOT, please, wear any of these shoes with another polka dot item from your wardrobe. The trick to pulling off a polka dot look is wearing only 1 of it. So instead of searching for a pair of shoes to match a dress or an outfit, do a reversal. Any of these pairs would go nicely with a plain -meaning NO PRINT- dress or a solid color top and jeans get up. To help you out even more, imagine any of these pairs with my $5 Little Black Dress. [...] When I finally got my wide belts from EBAY, I thought to myself, “hmmmm, SELF, I’m sure there are are outfits we could come up with other than wearing the belts with dresses“. I’ve already wore the white belt with my off the shoulder orange tunic. And I planned on wearing the red one with one of my LBD’s. [...]
