Swimsuits - My Top 8 Faves

Saturday, June 23rd, 2007

Since it is summer and I desperately need a new swimsuit, I’ve decided to post my top 8 favorite swimsuits from around the web. To order the suit or view it in other available colors, click on the picture.

Walmart - Balady Bikini

This two-piece bikini has a skirted bottom and a halter-style top. The top has a o-ring in the middle of the cups, with charms dangling down from it. The skirt has ruching on the sides that you can tighten or loosen to change the length of the skirt. $22.76 at Walmart; available in moulin rouge (pictured) or mustang blue.

Walmart - Studded Bikini

This two-piece suit has a banded halter top and boy shorts. There is a trim of studded embellishments around the bottom of the top and the top of the boy shorts. Available in brown passion (shown) or arctic white; $22.76 at Walmart.

My Other 2-Piece Tankini & Boy Shorts Swimsuit

Wednesday, May 30th, 2007

my2piece_0.jpg

07_swimwear_01th.jpgI bought that 2-piece halter top tankini and boy shorts combo at Wal-Mart last week for the Memorial Weekend. I love the embellished gold tones of the top and the front lining waist band on the boy shorts. I didn’t wear my backless brown tankini coz I thought it was too sexy for the event. Fitting into a 2-piece suit was my goal after I had my baby August of last year. I finally got to fit in one. Albeit it’s a tankini and not the skimpy 2-piece bikini I’m still working on, it’s still a 2-piece nonetheless :) . I picked a tankini/boy shorts combo because as much as I am proud of myself for losing weight, I’m not confident enough yet to let my stretch marks show. One day I will but not right now. Tankini is a great option if you’re feeling the same way I do. By the way, this new suit is $22.76 .

Xhilaration Swimwear #2

Wednesday, May 23rd, 2007

xhilaration_swimwear2.jpgHow about this pin dot print with ruffles set? The color alone got me all excited. I love all the hues of blue so this torquoise bikini didn’t escape my eyes. The ruffles trim adds a playful site to this already sexy and naughty pair. It ties in the back for closure so as the neck part. While the scoop bottom ties in the sides. Sold separately, for $14.99 each.

Xhilaration Swimwear #1

Wednesday, May 23rd, 2007

xhilaration_swimwear1.jpgI’m still looking for another pair of swimwear for this Summer. While Wal-Mart is selling 2 piece-bikinis for less than $10 each, Target has a few up their sleeves as well. Here is one of my picks from the Xhilaration line. It’s a halter top and the bottom ties in the sides. I love the pink trim combined with the black. I am also digging the metallic cherry print on the other side of the top. Cute. FYI, the pieces are sold separately for $10.49 each.

By the way, the bikini comes in small, medium or large.
