My favourite bargain store is the Black Pepper warehouse shop, in Melbourne. I can find all the smart casual outfits I need for a fraction fo retail price. Most of it is pure cotton (brilliant for sensitive skins like mine) and they (astonishingly) cut their clothes to fit women who lack waif-waists.

My favorite bargain store is in NYC called “Afaze”. It sells mostly accessories but you can also find inexpensive ballet flats there too. Even if you are having one of your “fat” days, you can always find something there, from earrings, necklaces, bracelets, tights, ballet slippers, handbags, headbands, etc. all at reasonable prices to update your wardrobe without spending a fortune. I always stop by a few times a month on my way home and always find something there. Great for a cheap splurge.

My favorite bargain store is Forever 21. You can find great outfits at unbelievable prices!!!I can easily spend around $50 - $100 and come out with so many outfits (to include purses and accessories). I try to wait and go at least once a month because there is a tendency to go overboard!!!!!

My favorite bargain outfit is a black shirtdress I found at old navy for $15.90, a vintage store find tan scarf for $0.99, and a pair of vintage tan heels from the 80s that I got for $3.99. I like to carry my $2.99 flea-market find patent wristlet with my outfit. This is my favorite bargain outfit because it’s chic but hardly expensive! The vintage pieces give the dress a really sentimental feel as well.

  5. Tara Noble Says:

My favorite bargain outfit is a vintage sundress which is so short, I wear it as a shirt, given to me by my mother. It was one she wore in high school, I pair that with a pair of Bermuda shorts which are form fitting and which I got a resale shop for $3.99, and a pair of flat sandals from payless with a scarf in a wild print tied around my head as a headband. (the scarf comes from my aunt) It is one of my most fav outfits, but regretfully it was ruined this past week, by someone who tried to wash it to be helpful, but ended up bleaching it.

  6. Alisha Soule Says:

I frequent thrift shops where you can always find the best jewelry and accessories. My favorite would have to be some green snake skin pumps I bought for $.50. Trés chic.

  7. Andi Postelwait Says:

My favorite bargain store is a second hand shop in South Carolina called Revente. You can take them clothes that you no longer wear and then they sell them for you and give you a percentage of the profits. I like to spend the money I make on a “new” pair of broken in jeans, or a new bag. I have an
    addiction for beach bags…

  8. Tiffany Says:

My favorite bargain find was on a national retailer website that had an “unbelievable” clearance. I got a swimsuit that looks great on me for 11 dollars(originaly 75 dollars) a pair of great fitting jeans for 13 dollars (originally 38) and a pair of gray pumps for 8 (originally 40!) A few days after I ordered them online, I checked the site again and the items I had purchased were all put back to more expensive prices. I am not sure if a mistake was made on my order or if they sold the items so fast with the new prices that they bumped the prices back up. I love my items and I am stil astonished I got what I got for the prices that I found. I love thinking about it!

My best bargin style was finding a ‘one & only tunic’ which turns into 3 different style skirts, 8 different style dresses and 7 different style tops/jackets. It is an amazing versatile piece that I found on an online shopping network by a great designer. Thankfully, I threw caution to the winds and bought two of these in different colors.

I’d have to say that my favorite store for fashion is JCPenney. Good price, good quality. Thank you for the opportunity to win this Outfit Kit! :)

I think every woman, regardless of budget, has the capacity to be fabulous, whether you are a diva on a dime, or a diva with big bank. My favorite bargain find was designer dresses that retail between $75-$200 in high end stores on the $15 store website. My favorite bargain piece is a gorgeous leather clutch purse that I got from a thrift store…it’s time consuming to sift through items there, but I am almost always guaranteed to find a jewel. It works out because I go in to give away a few bags of things, and sometimes I come out with something nice for myself.

My favorite stylish bargain outfit would be one of two I’ve assembled recently: A gray sleeveless tunic with cute pockets from Fusion Boutique worn over a clearanced Maurice’s black & white houndstooth cami; a dark wash skinny capri jean from Kohl’s clearance; black w/wooden bead sandals from Old Navy; white rose earrings also from Fusion; set of 3 white beaded bracelets from Wet Seal clearance; nifty black and white purse on sale at Gordman’s. The second outfit is a navy/teal long sleeved, striped tee off Aeropostale clearance under a clearanced WalMart navy nautical jumper, (resewn by me); thrift store navy tights; short red leather laceup boots off ebay; a necklace with one large cream shell carved leaf, clearanced at Urban Outfitters; pearl earrings and pin, thrifted; red leather and silver watch, $5 at Maurice’s. I am constantly on the lookout for thrifted or clearanced treasures anywhere I go; I shop everywhere and love the thrill of the hunt!

  12. Meg Says:

I’m so proud of my finds :) I love T.J. Maxxx, Ross, and Steinmart. It’s hard to choose which I love more - but maybe T.J. Maxxx for its balance of style, great prices, organization, and customer service. Still, I’ve found most of my best finds at Ross, even though it takes a lot more work because the store is so unorganized (at least the one here).

Right now, my favorite bargain outfit is a pair of electric blue shoes with slim cork wedges, a red plaid skirt, a fitted dark-purple paisley top in what looks like velvet, a pink faux-leather wristlet purse, and a pink with red stripes head band. The head band I got at Stein Mart for less than $10. Everything else was from Ross. The shoes were $21.99, the wristlet was $4.99 and the skirt was $10. The top was under $10, I believe. That’s less than $60 for the entire outfit!

Now, I know what you’re thinking. Honestly, I would never think that so many colors and patterns would go together… but trust me, it works. It happened by accident while trying on tonight’s finds (like the shoes), with yesterday’s finds (like the wristlet and skirt) with pieces I already had (like the headband and top). And then all of a sudden, “Voilà!” The outfit I would have never thought to put together, put together itself and there I am admiring how everything fits perfectly on my body and someone works together. Even my husband, who is a style skeptic, loves it and wants to take pictures some time.

The look is definitely edgier than I’m used to, but the style is growing on me. It was just the thing to get me out of my style slump and thinking ahead to fall. It’s also given me new courage to find new outfits in my closet - which I spent at least another hour or so doing. I had a blast! It was like shopping for free.

  13. Stacy Says:

My favorite bargain store for clothes, shoes and accessories is Target. I totally dig that they get fancy designers to make a special line for Target at low prices. I loved the Luella line. Plus their full-time Mossimo line rocks the cat box as well.

  14. Cherise Charleswell Says:

My most recent favorite bargain find was at Ross. I scored an emerald green silk skirt, that had silver sequin embellishments for only $4.99. It was the last one in the store, and the price had been slashed a few times. It was also just my size!!

  15. Lauren B Says:

my favorite bargin store is Target (ok, not very original…) - its big, clean, and has everything from great bargins to no-so barginy stuff…classics to funky things. Such a mix! Forever21 is good, but its so crowded and noisy that I tend to get a headache whenever I go in…

  16. Alli B Says:

the best place to find good quality clothing at great prices is the Dillards clearance center. Everything’s 75% or more off the retail price!! If there’s one in your area it’s worth checking out!

  17. Alli Says:

I am so happy to find your website and blog. My favorite way to shop is through outlet websites (Coldwater Creek, Eddie Bauer, etc.) I find that I can get great deals, sometimes free shipping, and good selection in my size.
