Get Your Hairapy!!
Have any of you tried any of Sunsilk’s products? There’s a shampoo for each hair problems. Their commercials are so witty that I couldn’t help but try them myself. The power of good merchandising, huh?

So far I’ve tried their Hydra TLC to help me fix my split ends problem. My hair gets too dry which is why it’s prone to split ends during the warmer weather. The Hydra TLC collection has Nutri-Keritan which makes your hair stronger and gives that softer look. I Love It.
Besides being prone to split ends, I also have anti-flat problem. Sunsilk has the solution for it too. I’ve tried their Anti-Flat collection and I love it as well. I don’t spend as much time blow drying after shower. This line adds life to my hair. Va-Va-Boom.

I have also tried their ThermaShine line. I love the results. It really does give you hair a shiny look. It also protects your hair from the heat-damage it probably gets from blow-drying.
What I love more about the Sunsilk collection is that they’re very affordable. A 12oz bottle costs less than $4. I usually buy my supply at the Commissary(Army base) coz I also find $1 coupon right next to the products. Plus I don’t have to pay taxes. Definitely a Bargain Styling A+ rating.
Just as my face have the combination of oily and dry problem hence sticking to a make-up line that finally solves it, I’m happy to be using Sunsilk products right now to solve my slpit ends prone and flat hair problems. I’ve done damage to my hair from years of trying out different products just to get the right combination to help me out. Some people are surprised when I tell them Pantene does not solve my split ends problem. I tried the product just as it became the rage but to no avail. Thanks to Sunsilk, I think I’ve finally found solutions for my hair problems. I’m definitely getting Hairapy everyday.

Oi Pantene is the worst stuff you could put on your hair. I’ll definitely try Sunsilk next time I run out of shampoo/conditioner hehe. Thanks!

Sorry guys, but after over 15 years in the hair industry I really have to disagree. I can feel by touch a cheap shampoo and conditioner. These products have caused no end of problems for many hairdressers for SOME clients. If you have short, uncoloured hair, go ahead, use them. But if you have longer hair or coloured hair, you need a real quality product. The silicon polymers in products you get from the supermarket/chemist/drug store (depending on what country you live in) coat the hair and can stop colour from “taking” giving a weak or transparent result. NOT OUR FAULT. You get what you pay for. If you want to spend $100 getting as hair coloured every 6 weeks, then not spend spend $30 for a good shampoo & conditioner which will make it last and look good for longer, then why bother? Would you ask your cousin for advice on which drugs to take to get rid of an infection or virus? No. Hairdressers are qualified to give advice on keeping your hair in good condition, and if you feel that they are just trying to make a buck from you, ask their advice but tell them you’re going to get it from someone else. That’s what I tell my clients because the better their hair looks, the better I look, I’m in it for them, not the almighty dollar otherwise I would have stayed in technology, not hair.

Hi Dean, thanks for your very informative input. I appreciate your honest and experienced take on hair. I know there are products out there that are probalby better than Sunsilk but I’m not willing to spend that much for my hair.I have kids to send to college, heh. I found an affordable way so I’ll stick to it for now.
I’ve seen specials on TV about cheap products compare to the big bucks one and most of the researchers say the affordable ones are just as good as the expensive ones. Some of the latter ones have ingredients that actually make the problem worse.
I say, stick to what works for you. If someone is willing to spend all that money, go for it. But like I said, I have kids to send to college :).

I’ve never tried Sunsilk products, but I do admit that when I saw their commercials for the ir products I was kinda like, hmm sounds interesting so I would MAYBE buy it, just because I’m a cheapo and like a good bargain, but for the most part I try to stick to organic haircare. While we’re on the subject of hair, does anyone watch Shear genius? I LOVE this show, it’s got all the essentials: drama, smack talking, and great hair. Anyways, they’re having this contest as well, where you and a friend could win a trip to NYC and get a makeover and $500, it’s hot. go here

[...] Get Your Hairapy!! by Dexie at Bargain Styling – She reviews Sunsilk’d Hairapy. If her conclusions are correct women across the country will be saving a lot of money on hair products this year.
