My Favorite Spring/Summer Shoes
This is written for the second installment of The Bargain Queen’s Fabulous Festival of Fashion, Beauty and Style. The theme is so close to my heart I could burst…LOL. When Individual Chic announced that the new theme she will be hosting is SHOES, I was like, “I am sooooooo IN”.
Here are the shoes from my collection that I wear during the Spring and Summer season. You’ve seen most of them in my What I Wore entries but let’s relive the moments and drool all over again, Shall we?
THE WEDGES
I bought this at Target, on sale for $12, I think. I know it’s less than $15
. I wear this pair, everywhere, all the time. Either with jeans, skirts or dresses.
This is the second pair of wedge that I wear mostly when we go out for dinner or to Church. I’s my “formal” wedge, while the one above is my “casual” wedge. It was a gift from a very dear friend of mine who has a sexy British accent.
THE GREENS
I bought this green peep-toe with polka-dot lining pumps from PAYLESS. This is also a “formal” pair but usually worn with jeans or dresses.
This is the “casual” green pair from Rampage. I love the studs on the straps. They’re very comfortable too. I’ve worn it with jeans and a nature-toned dress.
THE BLACK HEELS
Every girl should have a pair of black heels. I have a few but these 2 are my favorites. I’ve worn them, respectively, both for “formal” or “casual”. Again, with jeans or dresses. The strappy pair is part of a BOGO sale from PAYLESS. I think it’s with that green peep-toe pumps actually. The buckle-strap is from the PX for only $12.99. Yup I still remember the price because it’s actually the first stilleto pair that I bought when I finally decided to go with the stilleto-mania. I used to be a “platform” girl but consciously made the decision to be sophisticated and chic by adding stilletos in my collection. Thank goodness I did coz I feel more confident and grown up in them

THE ORGASMIC RED SHOES
This is my ULTIMATE favorite this year. I bought it from PAYLESS as a part of the shopping spree 30th birthday gift from my husband. I’ve worn it with so many outfits so many times. Either with jeans, dresses or skirts, both casual and formal. This red pair is my answer to adding a bold accent in my outfits.

sorry tanyetta. i’d be sad too if i’m not able to wear them couldn’t you find a lower kid of wedge? you might be able to wear those.

Love the red ones (RED!) and the polka-dot green ones (GREEN!), and the embroidery on the formal wedges speaks to me on so many levels (one of which is ‘late-1970s flashback’).
