Online Retail Therapy : Under $20 Blouses

by Dexie

After a very volatile and shocking day from watching The View, I had to do something to clear my aura, heh. I felt I needed to do some retail therapy. The one true tested cure for what ails every fashionista in the world. LOL. Hey, it’s better than eating a whole bundt of pound cake, right? Not that I do that anyway, i’m just saying. But since this Momma is broke, I had to do it in a way I wouldn’t regret at the end of the day. Online Window Shopping. Yes, the credit card is a few steps behind me but a Bargain Styler would always think first before buying something. Even if it’s actually on SALE.

I love printed blouses. I’ve been trying to slowly keep adding them in my wardrobe staples. The inception of different prints like florals, geometrics, dots, nature tones, and stripes these days are making me a happy styling Momma.

So what did I find for under $20?

This chiffon earth tone floral print blouse has ruffled sleeves and hem with a sash-tie for the waist from Rampage is on sale for $14.99.

I am so coveting this combo print of polka-dot and floral, empire waist top. There’s also other colors to chose from. Mustard, Fuchsia and black but this green is my pick. $17.80 from Forever 21.

Wet Seal is supposed to be for teens but screw that. They have sexy printed top that this Momma would love to have from their collection. The are limits of course to wearing something that are supposedly designed for the young ones. But if I look good in it and fit in it, without compromising my own style AND age, you damn right I’d buy and wear it proudly :) So here’s my pick :

I love camis and smocked tops. I have quite a few. So this Tie Shoulder cami-smocked combo is a big Yes when I saw it. I adore the bold floral print as well. It’s $17.50 from Wet Seal so it’s not bad.

Bear in mind though, even though these tops are under $20, I wouldn’t mind it if they go even more lower. Like under $15. I’m sure they would at some point which is why the trick is just waiting a little bit longer. ;)

Nice picks, I like the last one the best…the last shopping trip I went on searching for floral tops too…http://i171.photobucket.com/albums/u317/nothingtowear1/0430.jpg…those 3 tops, all under $10 each. I always check online before going to the stores in the mall to see if they have anything I like or if anything is on sale/clearance before actaully making a trip there (because gas prices are so high now!)
