Patricia Field and Christian Siriano design for Payless Shoes!!

by

Okay that headline alone should put a huge grin on your budget wallets.

In case you live under an unfashionable rock, Patricia Field is the red-head fashion guru monster who dressed all the hots ladies on Sex & the City, remember when all you were wearing those fake flower pins just like Carrie did, yeah.. that was straight out of Patricia Field’s head.

And the fierce, hot mess winner of last year’s Project Runway - Christian Siriano - I guess he stepped onto the smart bus and realized all of America can’t afford couture but hell yes they can afford some Payless!

Take a look at what they’re designing and how CHEAP it is!!

Christian’s collection won’t be available until Fall 2009. The shoes are expected to range from $25 - $45. He’s a little PR dream come true when he didn’t screw up his statement about designing for this budget - conscious store by stating:

I’m so excited to design and create with such an amazing brand that is all about fashion and trend but, most importantly, is also about affordability. I’ve already been working with the Payless Design Team in New York, and I can’t wait to see how they will take the high- end shoes and bags I’m designing for the runway and turn them into pieces that everyone can buy. I’m all about the runway and the sidewalks!
