What to wear to work: “Look Good, Work Good”
Have you ever suffered from office fashion envy? You see the women in your office always looking fresh, put together, and super stylish.. Maybe you think: How do they afford it? How do they put those cute outfits together? I think our two things to work on here are Budget and Style.
Here are some helpful bits of advice and key rules in the What to Wear to Work Guidebook:
1. Work with what you already have in your closet.
- If it doesn’t fit, get rid of it or get it tailored. That’s negative energy in your closet.
- Can you reinvent some pieces of clothing? Pair that button up shirt with a cute skirt instead of the usual black pants.
2. The color of your shoes dictates the color of your hose. Black heels = black hose, Light Colored heels = nude hose. Check out when Adam Glassman was on Oprah’s show and gave tips on dressing up a work suit.
3. Many discount stores have some great work attire available. Check out: Target, Ross, TJ Maxx, Marshall’s, Old Navy, H&M…
